What is MoonX?
$MoonX is an Algorand Standard Asset. This is similar to tokens on the Ethereum blockchain but supported by the highly scalable and low fee Algorand ecosystem. This is the native currency for the MoonX ecosystem. With it we will show the world the many ways utility can be added to a cryptocurrency. Understanding the underlying utility of cryptocurrencies will help people understand the need for them. How do I get involved?
MoonX is a relatively new project and right now it is mostly available on the Tinyman DEX.
You can currently exchange Algorand and other ASAs for $MoonX. Be mindful of low liquidity pools.
ALGO is available on most exchanges.
To interact with Tinyman and the Algorand ecosystem an approved wallet is required. MyAlgo and the Pera mobile wallets are the current widely used wallets. Pera wallet is endorsed by Algorand.
Once you have your wallet set up and loaded with some ALGO you must opt-in to $MoonX through the wallet before you can exchange it. Search for ASA #535221681 to find the asset in your wallet and on decentralized exchanges.
In the future, users will be able to earn and spend $MoonX in various ways, for more details, view the flight paper.

We chose the Algorand blockchain for our project because it is a system already built in line with our ideals. It is a decentralized framework with incredible functionality and a fee structure that invites everyone to participate. Algorand is also one of the few carbon neutral blockchains, so we can utilize DeFi tools, enjoy NFTs, and participate in communities without worrying about harming our precious planet.
